About me
I’ve been painting my whole life, above is my first oil painting, which was done in high school under the guidance of Miss Young, my art teacher, without whom I would have never gone to college. It’s amazing how having someone who believes in you can change your life. I’ve documented the decades of my life on canvases, from being a young art student in Philadelphia, to a career woman in NYC, to motherhood, on a year long solo horsecamping journey and now into my old age.
I went to Philadelphia College of Art, now known as University of the Arts, and graduated with a BFA in painting. I didn’t pursue showing my work and went into the commercial printing business as a saleswoman in NYC. But I never stopped painting, it’s the one common thread, the one lifelong passion in my life.
